One of the main attractions in the pavilion was the Volvo Excavator simulator, which proved to be a hit with members of the public wanting to find out what it might be like to sit at the controls of an excavator. Once they had tried their hand at digging up some virtual earthusing the simulator, visitors to the stand were also able to get a good look at the real thing: the Volvo Compact Excavator ECR35D.
